Rohingya Crisis Appeal

A nation without a country. Not without hope.

The believers, in their mutual love, mercy and compassion, are like one body — when one part of it suffers, the whole body feels it. — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ · Bukhari & Muslim

What life looks like

The largest refugee settlement on earth, and a generation stuck in limbo.

In Cox's Bazar, getting through the day is the whole day.

Bamboo-and-tarpaulin shelters stretching across the hills of Cox's Bazar

Bamboo and tarpaulin as far as the eye can see — home to nearly a million people with nowhere else to go and no country to return to.

More than eight years on, they remain stateless — unable to work, to leave, or to go home. The world has moved on. Their hardship hasn't — and it turns with every season.

  • A child trying to stay cool inside a sweltering bamboo-and-tarpaulin shelter in summer01

In summer, the tarpaulin turns each shelter into an oven.

  • A flooded, muddy lane between shelters after a monsoon landslide in the camp02

In the monsoon, hillsides slide away and every lane turns to mud.

  • A family wrapped in blankets against the cold inside a thin-walled shelter in winter03

In winter, the thin plastic walls do nothing against the cold.

No family should be left to the world's forgetting.

Today, your gift can reach them.

You won't be giving alone.

Every name below chose to act today. Add yours, and another Rohingya family gets through the week.

No season is gentle here.

Summer turns the tarpaulin shelters into ovens.

The monsoon brings floods, landslides and knee-deep mud.

Winter cuts straight through the thin plastic walls.

Through all of it, the difference is you.

One gift. One family. One shelter that holds — all year round.
